MOTION PICTURES AND TELEVISION PHOTO ARCHIVE

MPTV Founder and photographer Sid Avery transformed photography during the Golden Age. He was known as the man who could catch the best candid shots of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities – a fleeting moment, a private glance, or a behind-the-scenes glimpse into who they really were. MPTV features the work of more than 60 photographers who have dedicated their life’s work to preserving the vital art of photography, and in the process have captured some of the most famous celebrity images ever recorded.
