Jackson Fine Art is delighted to announce our ninth annual Private Collections Salon & Sale opening on Saturday, August 19th. This yearly event, with works that rival a large auction house sale, is a highlight for the gallery and has gained a strong following over the last eight years. The exhibition includes over 120 works by 77 notable 20th-century and contemporary photographers, and will be on view both in our newly-expanded Buckhead gallery and in a virtual online viewing room. The gallery will be offering sought-after iconic images by classic photographers including Ansel Adams, Richard Avedon, Henri Cartier-Bresson, and Irving Penn, as well as soldout works by contemporary photographers such as Katy Grannan, Adam Fuss, Sally Mann and more. One example of the offering highlights is a Robert Rauschenberg unique Polaroid diptych from his Bleacher series. Included within the exhibition is a uniquely Southern collection featuring a mix of work by Atlanta-based artists, 20thcentury American icons, and cutting-edge international photographers such as Roger Ballen, Sheila Pree Bright, William Christenberry, William Eggleston, Adam Fuss, Kojo Griffin, Sarah Hobbs, William Klein, Loretta Lux, and more.
