David Hilliard creates exuberant and crisp encounters between people and their environments. Both are equally crucial as they both are reflections of the other.  He conceptualizes the brief moments where all is right in the world; when people can exist without the weight of living heavy in their minds.  Hilliard’s colorful multiple paneled photographs can be found in the collections of the Los Angeles Museum, Harvard’s Fogg Museum, and Sir Elton John. His first book, David Hilliard Photographs, has recently been published by Aperture.
