On Tuesday evening at Cipriani in midtown Manhattan, scores of celebrated figures in the arts, philanthropy, and social justice came together for the 20th anniversary gala of the Gordon Parks Foundation. Among those on hand were Colin Kaepernick, Darren Walker, Annie Leibovitz, Tonya Lewis Lee (her husband, Spike, was courtside at Madison Square Garden for the Knicks’ come-from-behind win), as well as power couple Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys. The event has become a coveted beacon of light as one of the most highly anticipated gatherings of New York’s social season.
