The third Atlanta Art Fair opens Thursday, Oct. 1, at Pullman Yards with more than 80 galleries, the largest exhibitor roster in the fair's history. It runs through Sunday, Oct. 4, pairing gallery booths with public installations, live performances and a talks program. Fair Director Kelly Freeman says the growth reflects the strength of Atlanta's collecting community.
Freeman told WABE the fair has seen an "incredible groundswelling of interest in the Atlanta community from outside of the community." She called this year's roster, with more galleries than ever before, "a testament to the strength of the Atlanta collecting community."
Freeman first spoke with WABE about the fair ahead of its 2024 debut. This year's exhibitors include galleries from Seoul, Barcelona and Opole, Poland.
Freeman named four returning Atlanta galleries as stops for visitors: Wolfgang Gallery, Jackson Fine Art, Marcia Wood Gallery and Mason Fine Art.
