In celebration of the 10th anniversary for her most sought after series, The Unknown, Andrea Torres Balaguer presents the T-10 Project, a selection of ten iconic pieces from years past in a special commemorative edition.
The Unknown emerges as an evolution of the concept of identity based on the traditional definition of portraiture, where the face is the identifying element of the individual. Through the concealment of her own face with a paint stain, the artist loses her identity in favor of gaining infinite possible ones depending on the viewer’s imagination.
The works are offered in a limited edition of 10, size 20×15 inches.
