TWO ART FAIRS, ONE WEEKEND

Jackson Fine Art is pleased to return to the 2026 Atlanta Art Fair with a presentation of works by Julie Blackmon, Christy Bush, Saïdou Dicko, Chris Millsapp, and Chris Lowell, exploring the theme of 'play' as a source of creativity, experimentation, freedom, and memory. Play can be an essential part of artistic practice: it is the magic that happens when artists experiment with materials, scale, space, performance, and ideas. It is an invitation to follow curiosity, embrace the unexpected, and discover new ways of seeing. Play also carries the nostalgia of childhood: the freedom to imagine and transform the familiar into something entirely new. Through this presentation, Jackson Fine Art invites viewers to reconnect with their own sense of wonder and curiosity and to consider where there might be more room for spontaneity and joy in our lives.

We are pleased to announce our participation in Untitled Art, Houston – our first time presenting in Texas – and excited to engage with new audiences across the city, state, and region. On view will pair a selection of photographs from Gordon Parks’ groundbreaking series Segregation Story alongside Dawoud Bey’s Street Portraits to bring attention to their themes of social justice, race relations, civil rights, and the African American experience. Our presentation is timed to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the landmark publication of Parks’ images of the segregated South in Life magazine.
